WhatIf ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the WhatIf mobile application (the "App").

WhatIf is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, transmit to our servers, or share any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Financial account information or credentials
• Actual investment portfolio data or holdings
• Payment information
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data

We have no servers or databases storing your personal information.

The App stores certain information locally on your device solely for functionality purposes. This data never leaves your device:

• Search history: Stock and cryptocurrency ticker symbols you've searched
• Cached price data: Historical price data temporarily cached to reduce loading times
• Calculation results: Your investment calculations stored locally for reference
• App preferences: Your settings and preferences

Important: All locally stored data is protected by your device's security features and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App.

To provide historical stock and cryptocurrency price data, the App sends requests to third-party financial data providers. These requests contain only:

• Asset ticker symbols (e.g., "AAPL", "BTC", "ETH")
• Date ranges for historical data
• Standard HTTP request headers

These requests do NOT contain any personally identifiable information about you.

We use the following data providers:

• Yahoo Finance - for stock market data
• CryptoCompare - for cryptocurrency data

Since we don't collect or transmit your personal data to our servers, there is no centralized database that could be compromised. All data remains on your device.

You have full control over any locally stored data:

• Clear cache: Reinstall the app to clear all cached data
• Delete all data: Uninstall the App to permanently remove all locally stored information
