MoonSet ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the MoonSet mobile application (the "App").

MoonSet is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store on our servers, transmit to third parties, or share any of the following:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes
• Advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• IP addresses or browsing history
• Financial or payment information

We have no servers or databases storing your personal information.

The App stores minimal data locally on your device solely for functionality purposes:

• Appearance preference: Your chosen display mode (System, Light, or Dark)

Important: All locally stored preferences are protected by your device's security features and are automatically deleted when you uninstall the App.

MoonSet may request access to your device's location for the following optional feature:

• City Display: To show your current city name alongside moon phase information

Important: Location data is only used locally on your device to reverse-geocode your city name. It is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties. You can deny location access and still use all core features of the app — moon phase calculations work without location data.

Since we don't collect or transmit your personal data to our servers, there is no centralized database that could be compromised. All data remains on your device, protected by:

• Device encryption (if enabled)
• Your device passcode and biometric authentication
• Apple's security infrastructure

You have full control over any locally stored data:

• Revoke location access: Go to iOS Settings → MoonSet → Location
• Delete all data: Uninstall the App to permanently remove all locally stored preferences

MoonSet does not collect any information from any users, including children under 13. The App performs astronomical calculations locally and does not require any personal information to function.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and may notify you through the App or App Store update notes.
